If you encounter a red light, don't worry - simply check the grind size. Excessively fine grinds can clog the lid's holes, so opt for fresh, dark-roasted, medium grinds (similar to the original pods) for the best results. Leave about 0.3 inches of space between the coffee and the reusable lid to allow for proper water flow.

To brew a strong coffee, use a spent vertuo pod, remove the foils, and clean it. Fill it with dark-roasted, medium-fine grounds, lightly and evenly pressing them down, leaving 0.3 inches of space between the grounds and the lid. Press the cap firmly and evenly onto the top of the capsule, then insert it into the machine and brew.

Ensure you have enough fresh, fine-medium grounds. Using coffee grounds that are too fine or too tightly packed can easily lead to clogs, while insufficient powder may cause the lid to collapse, resulting in weak coffee and grounds left behind.

The flavor depends mainly on how precisely you grind and fill the pod. Check the original pod and fill with your favorite medium grounds, then brew and enjoy your own blends.
